The Non Stop Madrid – Murcia 

The Non Stop Madrid-Murcia is here, and TransSport gives you all the details.

It is a challenge that consists of crossing Spain from the center to the southeast, Madrid to Murcia, non-stop and enjoying dream landscapes both day and night.

The date is September 16, 17 and 18, 2022, departing from Madrid.

This challenge comes from an illusion and a challenge created by RPM-SPORTS, who have the experience of having organized seven editions of the Non Stop Madrid-Tajo Internacional-Lisbon, a race already consecrated as a reference in MTB.

An event open to all lovers of sport and great adventures.

The Non Stop is an event open to all types of MTB fans with a great spirit of adventure and looking for new ways to enjoy this sport through a unique event.

It ends in Murcia, birthplace of Alejandro Valverde, who we expected to see him compete in the World Cup or do the non stop in his birthplace unfortunately this will not be possible due to his decision to stop competing.

Let’s remember that Alejandro Valverde “El Bala” and who belongs to the Movistar team has had an exceptional career during all these years, however he recently announced his retirement from competitions. Some of his most important achievements were La Vuelta a España in 2009, a Road World Cup (2018), a podium in the Tour de France (2015), another in the Giro (2016) and two others in La Vuelta (2013 and 2014).

However, we will be able to see Raúl García Cortina belonging to Movistar Team, Alaphilippe who will defend the rainbow jersey and the Belgians, Wout van Aert and Remco Evenepoel, compete this September 25 at the World Cup in Wollongong (Australia).

The route of the Murcia Non Stop Madrid-Murcia goes from the Spanish capital to the Region of Murcia crossing and discovering the cultural, social and scenic variety of regions such as Madrid, Castilla la Mancha and Murcia.

With 8 sections of routes to demonstrate the physical condition of the participants, athletes are invited to complete it in the shortest time possible, by teams and without obligatory stops.

We love to know that these events motivate more and more professional and amateur athletes, creating that connection with nature while exercising outdoors, is undoubtedly one of the best experiences.
