Alvaro Bayona Baqués (Alvin) was a mountain guide and sports coach. In 2010 he suffered an accident caused by an avalanche while practicing snowboarding.
Today, after years filled with new personal challenges, has managed countless projects and virtues thanks to a positive attitude and a huge motivation to continue practicing what he considers his greatest passion, extreme sports like skiing, surfing, kitesurfing, wakeboard, paddle surf, and become what it is now, an elite athlete with paraplegia.
He’s also conscientiously involved in sharing his own experience (personal and athelitic), with many other people who are going through similar situations, and thus helps them to fight against any limits that are imposed due to this physical condition.
