If you are a fan of mountain biking, you will certainly find an event to suit you on Alps Epic. The full event will begin on June 18 in Serre Chevalier Briançon and will end in the same town on June 23, 2021.
For trained competitors who want to take up the challenge, it will be the marathon version with the “LA COURSE” formula, single-player Marathon MTB race or in teams of 2 or the “LA RANDO” formula, solo and without stopwatch. Alps Epic MTB Marathon is a prologue and five stages of approximately 50 to 70 km per day. This event is part of the “EPIC” format: weeklong roaming requiring good physical and technical qualities with an all-inclusive organization: shopping, logistics, accommodation services, etc.
For those who do not have the time or the inclination to participate in the full week, these 2 formulas also exist in “Week-End” format, 2 or 3 days, with the same services!
Despite the situation in the world, we believe that the situation will improve.
The Alps Epic event is not a mass event (maximum capacity 400 people) and the public is not large. These 2 elements greatly facilitate the organization of the event in good conditions with a possible adaptation. Therefore, there is very little chance that this event cannot take place (we remember that last year’s edition was held despite the little perspective on the covid issue).
